Registration

The registration will open on the 14th of May.

The Zoology 2025 congress, organized by the Koninklijke Nederlandse Dierkundige Vereniging (KNDV), offers a tiered pricing structure to accommodate various participant categories. Early registration is encouraged to benefit from reduced rates. 

An optional social dinner will be held aboard the Pannenkoekenboot, see Venues. The cost for this event is €50 per person.

KNDV members enjoy discounted registration fees. Annual membership is €30. Students (BSc/MSc) and PhD candidates are eligible for an introductory membership at €20 per year. Becoming a member not only provides financial benefits but also connects you to a network of professionals in the field of zoology. 

Additional benefits for members include:

• Zoology Prize: An annual award recognizing outstanding integrative zoological research conducted primarily in or from the Netherlands. The prize includes a certificate and a monetary award. For more information, visit the Zoology Prize page.
• Travel Grants: The KNDV offers seven travel grants annually, each worth €400, to support master’s students in zoology attending international conferences or undertaking work visits abroad. Two of these grants are specifically designated for neurobiological research. Applicants must be KNDV members. Details can be found on the Travel Grants page.
