These disciplines include behavioural biology, developmental biology, ecology, endocrinology, evolutionary biology, genomics, morphology, neurobiology, physiology, systematics, and theoretical biology.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:36% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img src=\"https:\/\/kndv.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/AnimalBiology.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-196 size-full\"\/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\r\n<p>Articles with an integrative character, combining different techniques and placing the findings in a broad zoological perspective, are particularly welcome.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><em>Animal Biology<\/em> has been the official journal of the KNDV since its foundation in 1872. The journal was initially called <em>Archives N\u00e9erlandaises de Zoologie<\/em>, which was changed to <em>Netherlands Journal of Zoology<\/em> in 1952.
