As of 1 January 2014, the KNDV is designated by the Dutch Tax Authorities as a Public Benefit Organisation (ANBI). Benefactors of ANBIs can benefit from certain tax advantages on inheritance, gifts and donations. For example, donations to the KNDV are deductible for income tax or corporate tax.<\/p>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Publication Requirement<\/h5>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

With effect from 1 January 2014, ANBIs are subject to a publication requirement. The relevant details of the KNDV are:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Royal Dutch Zoological Society (Koninklijke Nederlandse Dierkundige Vereniging \u2013 KNDV), formerly Dutch Zoological Society (NDV) with royal recognition.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

RSIN \/ Tax Number<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The Legal Entities and Partnerships Information Number (RSIN) is used to exchange data with other organisations, for example between different basic registries such as the Land Registry and the municipal administration.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The RSIN of the KNDV is: 8052 72 665.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Objectives and Means<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Article 3 of the statutes (adopted on 22 December 1989) states the \u201cObjectives and Means\u201d of the association:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

1: The association aims to promote the practice of zoology in the broadest sense.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
